Community Pool


The Westgate pool will open May 6, 2023.

Pool rules are posted and it is the responsibility of each individual to pay attention and to follow the rules. A lifeguard will be on duty during pool hours. Lifeguards are the final authority on interpretation of rules.

There will be a 10 minute maintenance and guard break every hour. All persons will need to exit the pool for the 10 minute break period. The baby/wading pool must also be vacated during this break.

No one will be admitted without proper access cards as issued by the Association. Residents are allowed to bring six (6) people per household. Guest may or may not be residents of Westgate.

  • All children under 12 years of age, must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age.
  • All non-swimmers must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 18 years of age.
  • All non-swimming children must be within arm’s length of parent or guardian at all times.
  • Only small floating items, upon pool manager’s discretion, will be allowed in the pool.
  • No running or rough play.
  • No diving.
  • No glass containers or alcoholic beverages allowed in pool area.
  • No pets are permitted on the pool premises.
  • The community pool has a family atmosphere. Proper swimming attire is required. Lifeguards will request those who may be wearing attire that is inappropriate or too revealing to be excused from the pool. No thongs.
  • The use of cocoa butter, baby oil, and other heavy suntan oils cause filter damage. Please wash off.
  • No swimming after designated swimming hours, unless special arrangements have been made through the management company, pool contractor, or the Board of Directors.
  • No loud music around the pool area.
  • No loud, abusive, or foul language will be tolerated.
  • No one with open sores or communicable disease will be allowed to use the pool.
  • Only non-swimming children five (5) years or under may use the baby pool. Parents must accompany children in the baby pool.
  • No smoking or vaping.

Reserving the Community Pool

The pool is available for rental only before or after regular pool hours and no later than 11:00pm. The pool must be reserved at least a week in advance. A $35.00 non-refundable administration fee must be received 24 hours before the rental. At least 2 lifeguards are required for the first 40 guests. One extra guard must be hired for every 20 extra guests. Lifeguards are $20.00 per hour per lifeguard and must be paid the day of the rental in cash.
